Who We Are
Coffee & Cookie Design is a small handmade business based in Calgary, Alberta, run by Michelle and Evan. We make personalised pet portraits and handcrafted keepsakes — physical pieces and custom digital artwork — all starting from a photo of your pet. Our shop is named after our two cats, Coffee and Cookie. We operate primarily through our website at coffeencookiedesign.com and secondarily through Etsy.
Placing an Order
When you place an order, you’re making an offer to purchase. We’ll confirm your order by email — this is when a contract is formed between us. We reserve the right to cancel orders in cases of pricing errors, stock issues, or suspected fraud, and will issue a full refund if this occurs.
Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. We accept payment through the methods available at checkout. Full payment is required before production begins. We reserve the right to update pricing at any time — changes won’t affect orders that have already been confirmed.
Custom & Personalized Orders
For personalized items, you’re responsible for the accuracy of all customization details — names, dates, spelling, photo quality, and so on. By submitting photos or artwork, you confirm you have the right to use them. Once production has begun, we cannot guarantee changes.
Personalized items are final sale unless they arrive damaged or we made an error. Please see our Refund & Return Policy for full details.
Digital Products
Some of our products — including Custom Digital Pet Portraits — are delivered digitally by email rather than shipped. The following terms apply to all digital orders:
Delivery. Once your digital file is complete, we will email it to the address you provided at checkout. Please ensure your email address is correct before placing your order. We are not responsible for files that cannot be delivered due to an incorrect email address or full inbox.
Final sale. All digital products are made to order and are non-refundable once the finished file has been delivered. If you are unhappy with your order for any reason, please contact us at hello@coffeencookiedesign.com — we will always try to make it right.
Photo quality. The quality of your digital portrait depends on the photo you provide. We will contact you before beginning work if your photo is too low resolution or unclear to work with. By placing an order, you confirm that you have the right to use the photo you submit.
Personal use only. Digital files are licensed for your personal use only. You may print them for yourself or use them privately, but you may not resell, redistribute, or use them for any commercial purpose without our written permission. Ownership of the finished artwork remains with Coffee & Cookie Design.
Intellectual Property
All original content on this website — including text, photos, designs, and branding — belongs to Coffee & Cookie Design. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.
When you submit photos or files for a custom order, you retain ownership of your content. You grant us a limited licence to use those files solely for producing your order.
For digital portrait orders, the finished artwork created from your photo remains the intellectual property of Coffee & Cookie Design and is licensed to you for personal use only.
Shipping & Delivery
Please refer to our Shipping Policy for full details on processing times, delivery estimates, free shipping thresholds, and local pickup. We’re not responsible for carrier delays or packages lost after confirmed delivery.

User Conduct
We ask that you use this site honestly and respectfully. Specifically, you agree not to use coffeencookiedesign.com for any unlawful purpose, to submit false or misleading information, to disrupt or damage our systems, or to infringe on anyone else’s rights. We reserve the right to cancel orders or restrict access if these terms are not respected.

Our website may link to third-party sites or use third-party services such as payment processors. We’re not responsible for the content, policies, or reliability of those services.
