Coffee & Cookie Design began at home, quite literally.

What started as a small creative corner in our basement gradually became a dedicated studio space built on curiosity, patience, and a desire to create something meaningful. We are still at the beginning of this journey. The studio has not expanded into a large workshop, and it is still run from our home in Calgary. What we do have is intention, and a commitment to doing things properly from the start.

The name Coffee & Cookie comes from our two senior orange cats. They have been part of our lives long before this business existed. As they have grown older, we have become more aware of how precious time and memories truly are. That awareness naturally influenced the direction of this studio.

Personalized pieces are not simply products to us. They are keepsakes. They hold names, dates, and stories. Sometimes they hold memories of beloved pets or loved ones. Our interest in creating keepsake and memorial pieces comes directly from that understanding. When something matters, it deserves to be made with care.

From our Calgary basement studio, we combine laser engraving with hands-on finishing and thoughtful design. Materials are tested carefully. Settings are refined. Details are reviewed more than once. Being small allows us to move intentionally and avoid the pressure of rushing production.

Coffee represents focus. It reflects the long hours spent learning, refining, and solving technical challenges.
Cookie represents warmth. It reminds us why we create in the first place.

Together, they represent the balance we aim for: precision with heart.

We are still building. Still learning. Still growing. Every project we take on, whether a personalized gift, a collaborative order, or a memorial piece, is treated with respect and care.
